Sun in my face

I spent the last week in Mexico with the sun shining every day. Even on the few days that dark clouds threatened to ruin our day, the sun fought back, and we had another beautiful day. 

I was dreading the thought of coming back to Jersey. Especially with the colder fall weather upon us.  As I write this sitting outside as the sun shines on my face, I realized one thing, I am glad to be back.  I am glad to be able to enjoy the weather changes, to see the auburn colors of the fall foliage, the fell the small bite in the air contrasted with the warmth of the sun, to smell the scent of burning logs in the firepit at night and the best of all to taste all the fall flavors.  

Welcome fall. Welcome pumpkin everything, welcome warm spices, welcome comfort foods.
